A large project where the aim was to replace an existing "Self Service" front-end with a modern web front end while enhancing the existing functionality to create a one-stop-shop for their customers.
The project required me to develop a new bespoke web application using modern technologies while integrating into existing legacy systems. I worked closely with the customer and used iterative design techniques to perfect the branding and web designs.
They wanted to introduce cost savings by reducing the activity on their service desk (the project reduced the activity by 50% with the number still growing) and also wanted to improve the customer experience by providing an intuitive web front end.
The final product quickly became a favourite for the consumers who were empowered by the extensive functionality which in turn reduced the Service Desk activity.
